@dietriotut was nice enough to let me try some product photography with his salsa verde bottle. I put a @godoxlighting V1-S flash with a snoot and double amber filter against the back of the bottle to get that fiery light from within, and then combined it with a clean plate to remove the flash head. I like how this one came out.

Snagged a couple of shots of the #wsferries Tacoma landing in Seattle as I drove through yesterday on my way back to Utah. Ever since I saw how nicely the opening frames the background, I’ve been wanting to get a shot like this. Thank you @venuslaowa for making the excellent full frame AF 10mm f/2.8 so I could make these shots.

Snagged a couple of shots of the #wsferries Tacoma landing in Seattle as I drove through yesterday on my way back to Utah. Ever since I saw how nicely the opening frames the background, I’ve been wanting to get a shot like this. Thank you @venuslaowa for making the excellent full frame AF 10mm f/2.8 so I could make these shots.

I made it to the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington in one piece. Today’s drive from Kennewick was…. not fun. Two extra hours crawling on snowy roads through Snoqualmie Pass and almost being run off the road by a semi (and getting blinded three times by semis splashing massive amounts of snow on my windshield). However, before the weather took a downturn, I came across this scene and was struck by the dark and brooding beauty of it. I actually doubled-back to capture this photo. At least undone driving for a bit, lol.
